Модуль 1 STRONGTIES «Тесные связи»

Lesson 3 (___)

Тема:GrammarinUse.

Цели: расширить грамматические навыки;

повторить глагольные времена группы Present;

ознакомить с фразовым глаголом to look , тренировать его употребление;

тренировать употребление конструкций с «подчинёнными» предлогами;

ознакомить со способами образования прилагательных;

развивать умения во всех видах речевой деятельности;

развивать логическое мышление;

воспитать нравственные ценности и ориентиры;

формировать качества гражданина и патриота.

Оборудование: УМК "Spotlight"- 10, под редакцией Ю.Е. Ваулиной, Дж. Дули, аудиодополнение, доска, презентация.

ПОДГОТОВКА К ВОСПРИЯТИЮ ИНОЯЗЫЧНОЙ РЕЧИ (ОРГАНИЗАЦИОННАЯ ЧАСТЬ УРОКА)

Greeting 1. Беседа.

T: Good morning, boys and girls.

 P-s: Good morning, teacher.

 T: I’m glad to see you.

T: Sit down, please. Let’s start our lesson. Answer my questions, please. What date is it today?

Grammar 1. Обобщение знаний по темам глагольные времена группы Present. Revising present tenses. Ex1, p14.

a) Учащиеся вместе с учителям повторяют правила образования и употребления времён группы Present.(Grammar Reference Section)

T: Let’s remind the basic rules for using the present tenses. Refer to the Grammar Reference Section if you require further assistance. Complete the task individually. Put verbs in brackets into the Present Simple, Present Continuous, Present Perfect or Present Perfect Continuous.

b) Учащиеся, используя материал грамматического справочника, повторяют употребление времён.

T: Pay attention to the Grammar Reference section. Say how each tense is used in Ex. 1a.

P1: present simple: present state (think, smells) and timetable (starts)

P2: present perfect simple: state that exist from a point in the past up to now (has known, have been), recent action (has forgotten), experience (have you read)

P3: present perfect continuous: (has been getting) an action that started in the past and is still continuing (with emphasis on the intensity of the action)

c) Учащиеся повторяют глаголы действия и чувств.

T: Look at the blackboard. “I love film”. Does this verb describe an action or a state?

P1: a state.

T: Can I say: I’m liking pop music?

P2: No.

T: ‘like’ is a stative verb and doesn’t have a continuous form. think of other stative verbs.

P4: Love, hate, forget, want.

T:Look through the Grammar Reference section for more details. Say which of the verbs in Ex.1a) are stative verbs? Find an example where a stative verb is in a continuous form. What does it mean?

P5: stative verbs: think, forget, know, taste, smell.

P6: continuous form:thinking ― means having the intention to do sth.

tasting ― having a taste of it to see if it is good.

Speaking 2. Развитие умений диалогиской речи. Practising adverbs of frequency. Ex2, p14.

Учащиеся повторяют слова-маркеры для Present Simple.

T: Let’s revise the time words for Present Simple.

P1: Usually, always, sometimes, often, rare, seldom, never.

T: We can refer to the Grammar Reference section for more details. Ask and answer as in the example.

P2: How often do you surf the Net?

P3: Not often. I sometimes surf the Net at weekends. How about you?

P2: I often surf the Net.

P3: Really? How often do you go clubbing?

P2: Oh, I never go clubbing. I don’t like dancing.

Writing 3. Развитие навыков письма.

a)Practising for/since with present Perfect. Ex3, p14.

Учащиеся повторяют слова-маркеры для Present Perfect.

T:Explain the use of for/since. Pay attention to the example. Use the verbs and the table below to make sentences about yourself.

P1: I haven’t been to the beach since last summer.

P2: I haven’t seen my grandparents for a month.

P3: I haven’t written to my pen-friend since last month.

b) Revising been or gone. Ex4, p14.

T: Complete the sentences individually.

a) Practising yet/already with present perfect.Ex5, p14.

T: Pay attention to the example and complete the task in pairs. Look at Ann’s list. Ask and answer questions. Use yet or already.

P1: Has Ann had lunch yet?

P2: Yes, she had a sandwich. Has she done the shopping yet?

P1: No, she hasn’t done the shopping yet. Has she fixed her bike yet?

P2: Yes, she has already fixed it. Has she done her housework yet?

P1: No, she hasn’t done it yet. She’s been too busy.

T: Make your own list of things to do today.

b) Revising just, already, yet.Ex6, p15.

T: Pay attention to the example. You have some time to complete the task. Respond to the questions (1-5). Use just, already, yet.

P1: 2 … has just left.

P2: 3 … have not done it yet.

P3: 4 … have just finished cooking.

P4: 5 … have already had some.

c)Revising for and since.Ex7, p15.

T: Pay attention to the example exchange. Complete the task acting out the exchanges in

front of the class. You can use your own ideas as well.Ask and answer questions using for

and since.

P1: Have you been working hard?

P2: Yes, since this morning./Yes, for two hours.

P3: Have you been playing in the garden?

P4: Yes, for two hours./Yes, since this morning.

P5: Have you been sitting in the sun?

P6: Yes, since.

Grammar 5. Обобщение знаний по темам фразовый глагол to look, конструкции с «подчинёнными» предлогами, способы образования прилагательных.

а) Presenting phrasal verbs.Ex8, p15.

T: Study the diagram, then complete the sentences (1-4). Choose one phrasal verb and draw a picture to illustrate its meaning. Let’s explain the meaning of each phrasal verb.

T: Use Appendix 1 to complete the paragraph with: at, with, on, about. Use the phrases to make sentences about yourself and your friends.

c)Forming adjectives from nouns (word formation). Словообразование: суффиксы прилагательного –ese-, -able-, -ful-, -ical-, -al-, -ish-, -ous-, -y-, -ed-, -ive-, -ing-, -less-.Ex10, p15.

T: The suffixes in the box can be added to words to form adjectives. Each gap in the sentences can be completed by adding one of the endings to the words in bold. First read the theory box. Form adjectives from the words in brackets to complete sentences (1-4).
